This year, Halloween was COLD but a clear and beautiful night. We started our night with a quick stroll with our neighbors, and the girls got SO MUCH CANDY in just a few houses. Our neighbors are always so happy to see the kids all dressed up that they make them feel so special. Then we joined HG's SAA crowd in a nearby neighborhood. By then, it was dark AND cold with scarce candy distributions, so we didn't last too long. The girls were happy to come home and count their loot!
I walked in on this moment and never want to forget it. I pray there will be many more make up sessions at this counter.
Cress came up with this witch costume idea a week before LAST Halloween. I wouldn't let her change last minute, so she's held onto it for an entire year. She was happy as could be to finally get to be a (sweet and happy) witch.
