CMT’s First Alpine Village

Alpine Village has been an annual tradition for Helen Grace and me over the years, but we finally thought Cressey was old enough to come along this year. We invited Spiffer and Grandma to come with us. Cress was a little overwhelmed at first as she tried to understand and take it all in. Helen Grace was a model big sister, taking her around from shop to shop and explaining what you do at each one. She even forfeited her book at the book shop so that Cressey could pick two. HG liked making the top (she calls it a dreidel) in the toy shop, and she thinks Cressey’s favorite part was the candy shop. We rounded out our rainy girls’s festive morning with lunch at Panera. It was the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit!
