Thank goodness for positive peer pressure! Santa came to visit the kids at Maples in early December, and Helen Grace had a great experience with him this year because she saw all of her friends talking to him. She sat on his lap and told him all about the doll house that she’d love to have for Christmas. I cannot thank the program director enough for snapping this shockingly happy picture because any other time we’ve seen him around town this year, Helen Grace has gone running- the opposite direction!
She said she wanted to write a letter to Santa, so I grabbed some paper and a pen and was ready to write- and then realized SHE wanted to ‘write,’ and I was to just be there to capture her requests. :)
