First of many brunch with Reagan
They were individually too busy to eat much or cooperate at the same time for pics.
Self portrait by HG (those are some hanging beads in her classroom next to her)

We were shoe shopping for HG, and Cressey just walked over and plopped down next to her. Sweetly, HG was very happy to let her be a part of it.
She was being a typical two year old and was only happy (in the car during sister’s soccer practice) if she were naked.
Too cool for school

Book club breakfast for HG
Bribing for a pumpkin pic
While John and HG were out of town for fall break, Cressey and I had lots of special dates. This day, we started with Gibson’s donuts and then headed to My Big Backyard at the Botanic Garden.
We were so impressed by these big fish. They were so aggressive and jumped so high that they splashed us. She cackled!
We met the Waltons, our neighbors, there too.
Time outs are tough sometimes.
She obviously likes to vacuum much more than her mama.
The next day, we met the Mattice girls at the Shelby Farms playground.
It was so hot that by the end, she put herself in her stroller and put down her shade. Done!
Visiting Spiffer and GD
Worn out!
Sissy’s back! And we took Cressey to school one morning while HG had one more day of fall break.
Then, HG and I had a little mother daughter lunch date in Overton Square.
We were surprised to find that Cressey let them paint her face! She woke up looking a little worse for wear, and then I couldn’t get the blue paint off her face, especially her eyebrows. Hilarious!
She and I snuck into HG’s playroom, and she was sitting in this American Girl doll chair. Not quite her size but not too terribly far off.

Look at that sisterly love
I hope she always looks at her big sister like that.
I can’t pass this church pumpkin patch without her squealing and asking to stop.
The fourth grade took a field trip to canoe on the Wolf River. I graciously let John chaperone this one!
We tried letting the girls sleep together one night. It started nicely but ended up without either one asleep, so we will try again another day.
Look at her GET IT!

"You wike it, Momo? You wike it?”
Bedtime stories by Sissy
I knew something was wrong when HG told me she was so tired that she could lay her head down and go to sleep.
Woke up with headaches and body aches throughout the night.
Yep, strep.
Can’t keep little sissy away, even with germs.
“Mommy, I clean up!” (which means she eats what she finds on the floor)
And now it’s Cressey’s turn to be sick. Surprisingly, it was just a virus.
Sassy; HG’s last soccer game of the season
A friend’s birthday party
Who are these cozy kitties?
Time for a flu shot. As we pulled up and she realized where we were, she started repeating, “I not sick! I not go to doctor!” She somewhat cooperated until the shot came along, and she was upset for a few minutes. I rewarded her with a trip to ChickfilA to meet a friend, and then she was happy.
At CFA, we met Declan, our friend who was adopted from Taiwan recently. We loved getting to play with him and visit with his sweet mama.
Living Rosary
This is what she chose to do during naptime one day.
