Well, I got a little ahead of myself and jumped to December. Let’s round out November really quickly with Thanksgiving and Cressey’s first Ole Miss game, the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving night.
We celebrated Turkey Day at Spiffer’s and had a big time playing with Dah-bee and May May. Cressey was so sad to have to take a nap and the girls to leave. She had to have a little bit of rest though because we were going to Oxford again! We were given great tickets to the Egg Bowl and decided to give it a try.
To say it was a hit would be an understatement. Anytime we went inside, under the seats, to get food or warm up, Cress would cry, “I wanna ‘go team, hotty toddy!” They both loved watching the players run out too. Super fun night but really cold. After halftime and an embarrassing first half of play, we took our frozen selves back to the car with some very unhappy girls. They didn’t want to leave! Hotty Toddy!
We celebrated Darby’s birthday a little late.
We even saw Mere, Rod, and Matthew!
She was in shock for most of the first quarter. Very clingy while she took it all in.
And then she started to warm up and it was all a party after that!
