We loved getting to show KK around NYC for the first time for an Easter trip!
Some of us are more excited than others to take a pic
First glimpse of NYC for KK!!
I've never gotten this notification before- thought that was cute
LATE arrival to the Palace but so fun to get a glimpse of the city from above- and the room service pizza they let me order from Laguardia...
Best breakfast with a view in town!
Headed to Sutton
La Piazza is a great, high end Italian place between the Palace and Rockefeller Plaza. We were able to walk right in at lunchtime when the Plaza was an hour long wait, and while some menu items were frou frou, we found spaghetti and ravioli that were DELICIOUS and our favorite meal on our trip.
KK's first NYC cab ride
Madison Square Park at the Flatiron building (and a Shake Shack!)
Being very patient with me at Restoration Hardware in the Meatpacking District
Serendipity 3 was Peep-ed out for Easter!
This was as close as I could get to my 'spring NYC tulip' pic
This girl's favorite place in NYC
Can you see her?
Top of the Rock
The new Skylift
From the top of the Skylift
Dinner at Tavern on the Green
Great Gatsby was GREAT. Loved the music, the dancing, the costumes, the set, the acting! Cress did NOT like the staged shooting that happens in the play.
Ryan McCartan from Liv & Maddy and Sarah Hyland from Modern Family were the stars!
Walked our way back home, soaking in all the lights
Radio City Music Hall
The Vessel in Hudson Yard
Dylan's Candy Bar at Hudson Yards- lots of fun shopping! Try Ana Bar & Eatery inside for a great food hall that makes everyone in your crowd happy
And Laduree!
Well of course there's a giant pigeon statue in NYC! (Just south of Hudson Yards)
Ground Zero
Survivor Tree
Alexander Hamilton's grave at Trinity Church
SeaGlass Carousel
Lady Liberty
Dinner at Broadway Lounge, one of our favorites for the view
The Easter Bunny has arrived...
Easter Mass at St. Patrick's. 8:00 has been the magic mass time for us. Seems to get SO BUSY by the 8:45 mass, but it's been easy to get a seat for 8:00 (although no music)
Brunch at Sarabeth's on Central Park
The Mall
This was on our list to find for it's Gossip Girl significance.
Bethesda Fountain
Bow Bridge
We got back to our hotel and found 5th Avenue and 50th Street still being closed off for the Easter Hat parade, and Cressey thought she was cool stuff to be running down the middle of NYC streets.
It was our first time to see Hades Town, and we loved it! Btw TINY theatre- you walk right into the theatre, no lobby, bathrooms are upstairs. Pack your patience!
