Toohig Tidbits: May

Letting our butterflies go! Minimal tears this year because we planted a butterfly garden

First softball game!

Loves to hit the ball! Loves to run the bases! What to do out in the field? Not real sure

We've got spirit, yes we do!

Supporting our friends in their Wizard of Oz performance

Went to pick her up from after school care and find her playing in the mud

Freshmen cheerleaders!

Planting our butterfly garden

Top left is seeing the senior jumping on the SAA seal in the school lobby before graduation, bottom right is having sissy jump off a cliff with her

"Where'd she go??"

Recital day! (SAA friends Sarah and Julia)

Mama and sissy made it back from Nashville just in time to get her dressed and hair done

I talked her into going to Oxford with me to help with a wish, and I rewarded her with Sonic!

Doing homework while we wait on sis at the barn

She's the only one at her ballet class tall enough to use the top rail of the ballet bar

Pizza kit box night to support school

I'm not above bribing to get homework done

Can you find anyone in this bed???

Always ready to help!

Family planks

Hold on tight!

Teamwork

Cressey's first piano recital- she did SO WELL and barely even looked at her hands! No nerves at all, other being irritated at me that I didn't bring her a change of clothes after school

Sweet Maddie came to cheer her on

And Spiffer too and got her show ready!

Kids were not sad that their game got rained out when they got to play in the rain and see a big ole rainbow!

Got her haircut before a softball game, so she sported some cool braids!

No telling what she's telling Coach Joseph- she says it all!

Dinner date at Limelight

Carley sent proof that John and Travis were actually at SAA graduation instead of playing golf or at BBQ fest.

Horse show for Cress on Abby

One last playdate with our sweet Julia before she moves

Field Day (and she stole my visor)

She participated in the first tug of war (against girls in her class), but she didn't initially want to do the match against the boys. Once she saw her girls struggle against the boys though, that girl had to hop in there. I was so proud of her! And they won, of course!

Loving Coach G spraying them all

Last softball game

So she was so excited about her teepee like her sister's, but she couldn't resist a cuddle...

A little Oxford time to celebrate our birthday girl. She rode her bike to dinner at the Sipp, beat us there, and was quite proud of herself when we showed up.

Getting ready to hunt some leopard slugs!

Sweet neighbors

Spiffer and GD came to spend the night with us Saturday and let us have a dinner date. After dinner at Yugo, we stopped at City Grocery to see Worth.

Spiffer was telling her about the "ghost" at her house that caused a framed picture to drop.

Always dancing

Perfect sunshine/ shadow spot

HG's birthday brunch at Saint Leo and some of my favorite things

HG and Cressey walked to find dessert and found this crazy guy on a sidewalk patio

Cressey seeing Faulkner's grave

Avent Park

Running to meet her sis on her bike

John and I were able to sneak away for some nice walks that weekend

Cleaning up HG's balloons from her party, I told her not to pop the confetti balloons because they make such a mess. She said, "No worries, Mama, I got this." And then this...

GD invited her to run an errand with him in his Corvette, and she was PUMPED!
