Toohig Tidbits: October

October 1st: Ole Miss Homecoming game versus Kentucky

The Tooth Fairy came to see Cressey in Oxford! (She lost it Friday morning at home eating a bagel bite, but she forgot to check her Oxford bed when she woke up Saturday morning. She found it Saturday after the game)

HG didn't want to go out for dinner, so we got a date with Cressey

A rare sighting of sisters in the outside ring together

Our family sponsored a wish for Lennox

To round off a wild weekend, the girls wanted to decorate for Halloween

We were surprised to see a HUGE canvas of a portrait of HG hanging in the lobby of school! She remembers a photographer coming into her math classroom last year, and her math teacher making her laugh.

Time for pumpkins!

She was so proud of herself!

Ms. Fix It

First day of fall uniforms!

Surprised her by getting her new hanging chair hung for her new 'office'/ hangout space

Grandparents came to cheer HG on at the SDS/GSL - MUS game

Look at that extension for her group!

Always ready to help

Here goes the Auburn football weekend! Dinner at McEwens on Friday night. HG stayed to go to a CBHS game, so she came down late that night with the Words.

We tailgated with the Words for the game, and it was so fun! (For Cressey, she loved playing in the dirt)

Photobombed!

I look like a total goofball here, but I so rarely get to have my arms around both of these sweet boy cousins at the same time!!! (opposite sides of my family)

Cressey's first foam party

While Cress was living the high life in the foam, Jennifer and I (and John) were at home spray painting 36 pumpkins for fall fest decorations.

High school tour for HG (sniff, sniff)

Cressey drew this pic of me and her

More Make A Wish helping

Cress went to an art camp after school for a few weeks, and she was happy to see the ceramics she made!

I can't stop taking pics of this Sunny cat sleeping on me

I have to work hard (and play it cool) to get a smile in the morning

These cats LOVE a fire

HG's last cheer game as an 8th grader; Spiffer and GD filled in for us since John and I had tickets to see Chicago at the last Live at the Garden

The boys presented flowers to the cheerleaders

Chicago

Initiation 2022

Cressey loves a good box to decorate. This one became a car, complete with a GPS map on the front dash with "hospull," "nabhude" (neighborhood), "dintist ofis," and Walnut Grove. And a back window with a window wiper and a SAA sticker. Love it!

Baby shower for Ainsley and Mollie with the Ray Jay ladies

Meanwhile, Cress got shipped off to Spiffer and GD's

Wacky sock day

Recycling the baby shower balloons for school fall fest decorating

After school decorating- Cressey and Norah helped me make the ghost faces, and we brought Skelly home with us from an Oxford shop.

Doing a Halloween dress rehearsal

Next morning- big Halloween decorating reveal, and Cressey was so happy to show everyone how she helped.

Decorating for "Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun" fall fest

Look at those pumpkins!

You know this face paint only lasted five minutes... with her big sister, Mckenzie

Cheering on Reagan at the high school cross country regional meet

She found her daddy's letter jacket!

WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Making a random cake "for Daddy"

Checking out the corn maze and found this cool "air pillow"

Michelle and Sophie came to play too

Dinner date with the Ducks

Cressey's first horse show other than pony camp's show

While HG and Cress were not slated to ride at the same time, they of course started at the same time, so we all ran back and forth trying to see some of both.

So excited to get ribbons
