When Cress first realized that HG was leaving us for a whole week (and having so much fun at camp), she was really sad, so we had to pump her up about all the cool stuff she could do at home as the only child. She squealed, "It's a week of 'Cressey days!'" So began our back-breaking week of making all her dreams come true...
First, she started each day with ballet camp at SAA...
We had to buy her a new pair of ballet shoes, so we stopped by McAlister's afterward for some cheese dip, I mean lunch.
Then, she wanted to ICE SKATE
And when you pass Krispy Kreme, you can't not stop, right?
More ballet camp on Tuesday
And then she wanted to climb on the boats at Bass Pro Shop
Wednesday brought ballet...
And a ride to camp with Ellie Rene (while I went to Oxford)
And an afternoon with Spiffer and Granddaddy (and she cried when I got there at dinnertime because she didn't want to leave)
Thursday...started the day with ballet with Katherine...
Swimming with Ava
And then Friday brought trips to the vet for Sunny and Blue
And her ballet performance! I bribed her with a LOL doll...
And I had to pay up- she did so well!

And to cap off the week of "Cressey days," she wanted to wear her fancy JoJo dress, so she had a dinner date with mama and daddy. We took her to Majestic Grill downtown and had arranged a carriage to pick us afterward to surprise her. As soon as we passed the Peabody, she saw a carriage and went on and on about how she'd love to do one and was that her surprise??? Ugh! We kept putting her off saying you had to reserve the carriages and they all had people on them, enjoyed dinner (cheese, spaghetti, and strawberry shortcake), and then acted surprised when an empty carriage pulled up next to us as we walked along the street. She was PUMPED! She loved every minute of it, although I was worried it might lull her to sleep at some points, but it was such a fun memory together!
