Last day of 5th grade
The last day of school was Thursday, May 21st, and after one last class Zoom call that morning, we had to drive through school to turn in iPads and pick up locker stuff (HG) and pick up cute craft projects and extra clothes (Cress). HG was really quiet on the way there and finally started dropping a few tears as she talked about how unfair this all was, how this wasn't how she wanted the year to end. It's been a little bit of an emotional rollercoaster for all of us!
