Unicorn Photo Shoot

The week after Helen Grace turned 9, we treated her to a very special photo shoot with a unicorn! While she rolled her eyes at me when I tried to insist it was a *real* unicorn, she surprised me by wanting to get dressed up in the gowns and flower headdresses that the photographer had on site. She really got into finding the right outfit and swaying around in the long dress. The shoot was held on the grounds of an old farm in Olive Branch that is a mainstay in the area where John grew up. He remembers chasing cats around the barns and silos as a child, so I was excited to get to explore a little and have some memories there too.

Here are some magical moments frozen in time with our nine year old princess…

She tried and tried to close her eyes, hold her breath, and blow that glitter just right, and she got so tickled about it going EVERYWHERE. She found it all over for hours afterward, even in her teeth!
