Drawing with Big Red
We play a lot of hide and seek. By that, I mean Cressey will tell you where to hide and then she’ll come find you. Or she’ll hide in the same spot every time.
HG is a lot more creative.
Date night at 117 Prime
HG’s second Ole Miss football game (and her first of 2018 season, against South Carolina); Daddy teaching her the ropes
Meanwhile, Cress is at Spiffer and GD’s
Back to Oxford…it was a little chilly in the shade.
We got to see our Jackson family!
After the game, we came home and went to mass at Christ the King where John and I got married in 2006. Watching John walk with Cressey around the lake, I was reminded of our wedding day.
First nap in Mama’s bed!
Dinner with the Ducks
Sweet sister moments
Giving me her sassy walk
CMOM fun with the Ducks
She was so scared to try this swing, but once she finally gave it a chance, she LOVED it.
Dance party!
Cressey’s love language is playground time, so we spent a lot of time on pretty fall afternoons at the park.
She’s the perfect height to be able to see what’s on the counter…including candy…
HG even took her rollerblades to the park one day.
Getting a liiiiitle tight…
Shenanigans
While I was in Oxford for the day, John got the girls all bundled up during a cold snap for some outside time.
Mama’s bed is getting crowded too…
Blue Blue loving
And can’t forget Momo
Veteran’s Day lunch with Daddy
Hard to get work done
HG lost her 10th tooth; it came loose while eating pizza at school, and she pulled it herself! (to the right of her bottom four)
She was addicted to this hat for a while.
Impromptu lunch with Spiffer & GD
We had a huge surprise with SNOW on November 14th! It started in the afternoon as school let out and continued until nighttime, although it didn’t continue long enough for school to be cancelled the next day.
We had to touch it before we headed to school the next morning.
When it got quiet in the kitchen, I found Cressey in the pantry giving treats to the kitties.
Cressey’s school pics were scheduled on a Friday, so I got her dressed in her uniform and promised her a trip to the CFA playground if she cooperated. Unfortunately, she never made it to CFA because she absolutely refused to stand there and/or smile (despite the world’s most flexible school photographer). This was after the pics when she realized she wasn’t going to play.
So mad that she was throwing her leg over the bed, trying to get out
We found/caught a backyard varmint- a raccoon!
Pottery painting date with Addie
Dancing with Daddy
Visiting Grandma at work
I bribed them with a playground visit for fall pics with Cassie. This time, it worked!
Well, William is here (for Thanksgiving)!
Full lap, full heart
Time to get Snow Village out!
Look at those tippy toes
She is in a phase of wiping off my kisses!
This was a lovely experience of sitting OUTSIDE the CFA playground and watching HG entertain Cressey.
Helpful Blue
I’m not sure where this came from, but C offered to rub my feet. Of course, I didn’t say no!
Ooooh, the terrible two’s struck again
She didn’t like that the ornaments got glitter all over her hands, so she was trying to wipe the glitter off the ornaments with a paper towel- lol!
Seeing the stockings hung up
Oh, it’s the little things that are so exciting!
Kisses for Blue
This cat would live in front of the heater if he could.
One night, HG printed off all these worksheets on colors and shapes, and she sat down and went through them with Cressey. C was very willing to be “taught.”
First drive in my new car with two VERY excited girls!
