Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail

Our Easter festivities began at sunset on Saturday night at the Easter Vigil service at St. Therese Little Flower Church where finally, after 25 weeks of classes, I joined the Catholic church. Mass began at 8 p.m., and remarkably, Helen Grace made it until about 9 and then she escaped with Granddaddy and Spiffer to their house for a sleepover.

HG came home around 9:30 on Sunday morning to find what the Easter Bunny had brought her. She was most excited about a yo yo. The EB must have remembered how much she liked the yo yo at our hotel in LA. Then, we headed to brunch at Owen Brennan’s (along with the rest of Memphis) with HG’s grandparents and Bubba. As always, the band was a big favorite of Peggy and HG’s.
