We celebrated Ann Maxwell’s fourth birthday last Saturday on a beautiful and breezy spring day. Her backyard was full of bounce houses, and there was a fabulously talented lady there for face painting and princess balloons- she was quite the hit! I started telling HG about the face painting a few days ahead of time to warm her up to it, and sure enough, she took the bait. By the day of the party, she was pumped up and ready for her face to be painted. She walked straight past the jumpies and was second in line behind the birthday girl! She was so proud of her butterfly and wore it proudly for at least an hour or so before she suddenly demanded me to take it off. It was awfully cute while it lasted, and she was such a big girl and proud of herself! We enjoyed an fun afternoon hanging out with AMC, Emmaline, and Lawson, and our worlds collided with Riley from Maples being there too (she takes dance with AMC). HG was so bewildered that Riley was at Maxwell’s house!!
Happy birthday, Ann Maxwell!
If only you could hear the audio going on during this pic. It may or may not have involved HG putting her hands on her hips and saying, “Lawson! Get over here next to me!” Riley!
A walk down memory lane…
