Last night, our neighbors brought over a birthday gift for Helen- a princess castle tent. Oh, what a treat! She made Daddy put it together within five minutes of their walking out the door, and she insisted on reading her bedtime stories inside the castle. I’m shocked that I got her out of there and into bed and thought for sure I’d find her in the castle in the morning. (But she was still in her bed when she woke up.)
She still has castle on the brain today. Peg was talking to Helen Grace about being in Grandma’s house. She asked Helen Grace if she lived in a house, and she responded, “No.” Peg asked, “Well, if you don’t live in a house, where do you live?” And HG’s response: “In a castle.”
