On the Road to Fayetteville

Last fall over dinner in Oxford, the Words and the Toohigs decided we'd go to one away game each year to a college town that none of us had been to. We decided that we'd try Fayetteville in 2024 (Nov 2), and since the Ducks are Arkansas people, we asked them to join us. The sun never came out while we were in town, but we loved the walkable campus, the AirBnB, the cute restaurants, the friendly people, and the hills and fall foliage. HG and SK stayed home to cheer for their last CBHS game, but Cressey and the Ducks played outside in the rain for hours under forts of umbrellas and decorated with rocks. The grownups sat in the den with the doors wide open, athleisurewear on, and a glass in hand, and it was glorious! And our Rebs pulled out a win to boot!
