Introducing Penny and Teddy! We might be crazy, but I was having kitten fever after losing Momo, and we really wanted sibling kitties again (last pair was Momo and Rebel). Penny and Teddy are Sunny's half brother and sister (share the same dad Zen, but these kittens' mom is Bellah).
Bellah is ready for these babies to come! They were born on December 23, 2023

After they were fixed and had their last shots, it was finally time for them to come home! Granddaddy and I drove to pick them up on April 11th. HG knew what was happening and was super mad she wasn't able to skip school to join, and while Cressey knew they were coming soon, she didn't know exactly when. Spiffer picked them up from school and took them to their riding lessons and then home.
First look at Teddy (took us days and days of him being home to agree on a name)
And Penny too! We went to a cat cafe in NYC and met a calico cat named Peanut and thought that Penny was a cute variation of that name. Plus she's got a lot of copper accents.
Teddy wanted to be out of the crate and social the whole ride home.
Penny stayed in the very back of the crate (on top of the litter box actually)

We brought Penny up to Cressey's bed at bedtime, and she settled right in.
