Take Me to the Peach Bowl!

Our Rebels clinched their first 11-win football season in school history, and we were chosen to play Penn State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 30 in Atlanta. We felt like we HAD to go and cheer on our team! We flew over to ATL on Friday the 29th, went to the Georgia Aquarium (along with everyone else in town), and then met up with the Browns for dinner at the Sugar Factory. On Saturday, we carpooled to the game with the Eskrigges and Browns, saw so many of our favorite people at the game, and then went to dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Sunday was NYE, so we flew home and gathered with the Egners and our parents.

On our way to see our Rebels play! (Every time I say/ hear that, I think of the magnet that Bubba and Popa Frank used to put on the side of their car to go to Oxford for a game.)

These two are always up to something.

The St. Regis was TOP NOTCH. Fabulous service and beautiful decorations.

I got a Facetime call from Grace Ann, and look who was with her!

The Aquarium was amazing but oh so very crowded. Worth the $5 to get reserved seating for the dolphin show so we didn't get trampled.

These beluga whales were beautiful.

We left the Aquarium and walked toward the Omni to look for the merch shop. We found the team buses!

As we walked up to the Omni, we heard someone screaming our names- it was Mary Chris, Darby, and May May! We got to visit with them for a few minutes on May May's birthday!

Dinner at the Sugar Factory

Game ready! This van was huge

Juice!

This girl isn't easily excitable for football, so it made my heart happy to see her excited and cheering!
