Cressey loves trying to ride this antique horse at Grandma’s.
Spiffer has spent a lot of time at this little art table with her granddaughters.
Yes, we went out in public with Cressey in her pajamas. Sometimes we just have to pick our battles!
This girl loves her Jeep.
Labor Day fun
HG had to help hold Cressey’s head up on the way home.
Love this morning routine. Cress has decided it’s cool to hop up there next to sissy to get in line to get her hair done too.
On Tuesdays, HG walks with Cressey and me to her room first.
Praying that we all survive studying for a math test
Playing in the rain
The girls left their handprints in the wet cement last summer, and out of the blue, Cressey walked over to put her hands in the imprints. I haven’t seen her notice them all year and didn’t know she even knew about them.
Hug or headlock?
Daddy’s hoooommmmme!
This cat is unbelievably nice to our girls (as is Mocha). We have the best cats.
Waking up is hard to do
Blue has had as much fun with the Elsa wand as Cressey has.
Alexandra’s third birthday party…this hug at the door was adorable!
HG and AM tag teamed poor Lawson.
Cressey dominated hide and seek.
Cressey was infatuated with Anna but was scared to approach her. Anna noticed her peeping from behind me and offered to go play with her. Cress loved it but was still too timid to pose for a pic.
A little warm up run before school
Stopped by Ms. Marcy’s for a visit
Girls’ birthday dinner!!!!
Happy birthday to us!
“Wathing dithes”
Peaceful start to a church morning (Cressey went to the nursery)
First time at Children’s Museum without her sister- Cressey finally got to be the boss!
The secret to a happy carousel ride is to get a horse that doesn’t move up and down.
Barn time with sissy
HG might not always admit it, but these two have a lot of bathtime fun together.
A little pre-school sissy ride
After soccer practice, HG and I went to see Sydney Ellen’s soccer game!
One afternoon while HG was in play practice, the Hines girls came to a petting zoo with Cressey and me.
Early bird dinner with some silly girls
Field day fun (it was HOOOOOOT)
Some days, we eat dinner this way.
My Harding 20-year reunion
Look at this sweet sister moment!
One Saturday morning that HG had a soccer game, it was raining pretty steadily. Cressey and I spent some time on the playground and then retreated to the car with a movie and snacks.
More reunion fun
It’s getting a little tight in here…
So the cats aren’t in love with their new bed but someone else is…
This rainy day had C’s ringlets in rare form.
I was not excited about rain at drop off time, but who couldn’t be happy after watching these sweet sisters????
Bed hog
HG teaching Cress sign language to a church song. Happy tears!
Cressey likes to hit the button to open the garage door in the mornings. I had my hands full, but HG grabbed her up and lifted her to the button, much to her delight.
“Cressey, don’t you put your wet hands on my dashboard.”
And you see what happened…
One day after school when HG didn’t have any homework, we spontaneously headed to the zoo.
Not pictured: Cressey’s dip into the water after this step. Thank goodness, she was a good sport and didn’t freak out.
Since she decided she liked carousels at CMOM, she got brave and picked an animal that went up and down.
She soon decided that was a bad choice.
“Hold me like a baby, Mama!” I hear this at least five times a day. And I always oblige her.
Ballerina love
Daddy love
Look at this moment of bliss captured!
We went to see our friends, Ann Maxwell and Emily, in Alice in Wonderland. So good!
But too late of a night…
We were surprised to realize that SAA was playing Mia’s soccer team. It was so funny to see Mia without her riding helmet, and the girls had a good time playing against each other!
HG has really enjoyed this year in soccer and has improved so much. She’s aggressive and excited and goes to the ball. It’s fun to see how the whole team has started to mature and “get” the strategy of the game.
The girls were enjoying the beautiful day and built this umbrella fort in the driveway.
I want to remember how short these little legs hang off this very special chair. She loves to sit here and “work.”
HG leaves me notes to help remind me to do stuff for her…
John stumbled onto this scene after work one night…
