June was a busy month for us. HG was at Victory Ranch and pony camp, Cressey kept going to MDO and Little Gym, and they spent all the weekends in the pool. (Jury is still out if Cressey will be a Jeep girl. Wind drives her crazy.)
June 4th: Cressey’s teachers said she was talking so much more than a week ago. Calling her classmates by name, saying “go ahead, Stone,” or “wait for me!” On the playground, the teachers were telling the kids not to touch a wire, and Cress came out with a long sentence that flabbergasted them/ made them laugh: “But I want to touch it!”
June 8th: I’d been fussing at Cressey to leave the ice machine alone, which she ignored. When I raised my voice, she quit, tucked her head, said, “I need a time out,” and sat herself in the corner!
She often requests “Mommy’s bed,” but don’t be confused that she wants to sleep there. She just wants to cuddle in and watch tv. She loves to say “tag, you’re it!,” can climb up in her car seat and buckle the top one all by herself, doesn’t need a high chair out at restaurants anymore, calls her sister “heg gwace,” has no interest in potty training, requests going to daddy’s “office,” pounds her fists or stomps her feet when she’s mad, favorite phrases: “awesome, cool, nice to meet you, have a good day, no ma’am!”
She immediately goes to the freezer when they get to the Browns’ pool and demands a popsicle.
I had some pics taken of HG (coming soon), but the photographer took them at this old farm in Olive Branch that we’ve all admired for years (and John has memories of running around as a child). I was so glad that we were able to take some pics/ make our own memories there.
Glitter was included in this photo shoot.

Mocha has taken over a bowl that sat too long on our counter
When she drove me crazy asking to see Daddy one day, I stopped by his office to let him come down and give her a kiss through the window. But that wasn’t enough…she had to get a snuggle.
So proud of herself because she got a popsicle at the end of a pony camp day like all the big girls
Also hanging with the big girls (Fiks) at the Milk Bar
Watch out, Bubba!
