LeBonheur’s GenerosiTEA has become one of our favorite February traditions. This was our third year to join our SAA girls for a cup of tea (and a lot more!) to benefit the best children’s hospital around. For once in our life, we got there early, so HG shopped for some pjs for her American Girl doll and then headed to the activity stations. First, she decorated a cookie, then painted a wooden block/ clipboard, created a card for a patient, and finally decorated a flower pot. By then, we met up with her friends, and they dug right into their lunch plates while watching the spring fashion show. After they scarfed down the delicious food, HG decided she wanted her hair braided, so off she went to the beauty school table. The stylist did a great job, and HG didn’t make a peep. (For the record, she loved the braids so much that she slept ‘carefully’ in them and saved them for all day Sunday too!) Of course, we had to make our stop at the photo booth too. The girl who had been so shy about being silly in years past sure made up for it this year! We can’t wait for next year!
