It was Helen Grace’s turn to bring home her class bear last weekend, Maple, and we {and by ‘we,’ I mean ‘I’} were charged with the task of creating a poster to document our adventures from the weekend and writing an entry in his class notebook. This goes down as ‘my’ first homework assignment in Helen Grace’s school career, and even though I waited until the very last minute to pull out my scrapbooking supplies, I really enjoyed doing it and loved seeing how proud HG was of it. :)

He helped her with her first official homework assignment… …which wore them both OUT! Zzzzz Mocha and Rebel weren’t sure what to think about Maple. On Sunday, we went to the fall festival at Lawson’s church. Helen Grace was so brave and rode all the rides (that’s her in the green twirly thing), but Maple was tooooo scared. He had fun on the playground though. The finished product
