Grandma, Peggy, and Helen Grace found this book at the library recently: Arthur’s First Sleepover. In the story, Arthur and his friends scare his sister by creating an alien and putting it outside her bedroom window in the middle of the night.
They were inspired to create their own version of Arthur’s alien (which was VERY CLOSE to the real thing), and when I came home from work, I was greeted by this…
She was so very proud of it, and we had to walk over and scare Nini and Teddy too.
“No, Teddy, it’s ME!!!”
And then we had to come home and scare Daddy too. Such a ferocious alien! And I love the belly laugh that comes with it, too.
