We had a busy morning last Saturday, but Helen Grace woke up from her nap asking to go to a festival and we all needed some fresh air. I had to reach out to the Facebook world to figure out if any were going on that day. We contemplated going to Midtown for Cooper Young Festival, but ultimately, we talked her into going to the zoo where we knew where we were going, could park close to the entrance, and wouldn’t have to fight a crowd. The weather was nice and cool, although we were hit with a few drops of rain. We wandered around for a while (the rhinoceros was her favorite that day), and then we headed to meet Granddaddy and Spiffer for dinner at Bronte, one of our favorite places for play-eat proximity. We had a great Saturday!
The girl can seriously read a map. She pointed out exactly where we were and showed me how to get to the giraffes. “Seriously, Daddy, the camera had to come with us again?”Get that Daddy! An example of how quickly a three year old can change moods…at first, she thought the noise from the leaf blowers was funny. And then on the flip of coin, it infuriated her!Dinner with GD and Spiffer
