Friday brought a really fun day! We began with our last Kindermusik class of the semester, and Ms. Karen brought her inflatable nativity scene which was a big hit. Helen Grace had to pat all of the animals. Afterward, we met up with Melissa and Baby Lawson for lunch and CUPCAKES. Yummm. She is a big fan of a little shop called Ann Olivia’s in Hernando, so we bundled up the babies and headed south. We had a great little lunch at a cute place called Memphis Street and celebrated Lawson’s first official lunch date out on the town. Then we moseyed over to Ann Olivia’s to try their famous glittered cupcakes…and they were everything that Melissa bragged about! They were quite delicious, and Helen Grace really enjoyed hers (of course). We look forward to many more lunch dates with Melissa and Lawson!
She couldn’t get enough of Baby Lawson. She had the most bewildered expression on her face when Melissa put his car seat in my backseat with hers, and she was really fascinated with him the whole day. She had to help burp him. Peeking…this was pretty constant throughout our date.
