John’s oldest friend and childhood next door neighbor, CB, has become a daddy! Chris and his wife, Emmy to HG, welcomed Addison Marie Brown into the world on December 27, 2012. {Helen Grace was the flower girl in their wedding in 2011- see the blog.} Helen Grace hasn’t stopped talking about Baby Addison and all the things she is going to teach her (forward rolls, twirling, etc.). We went up to the ‘hopital’ to meet her a day or two after she was born, and HG was just tickled pink. She was very quiet and timid as she checked her out. (Probably had something to do with my warning her a million times not to even breathe on the baby, much less sniff or cough.) I was still suffering from a cold so I stood back in the corner faarrr away from Baby Addison, but HG and John had a great time getting to know her. Emily’s mom, Mrs. Mo, helped introduce HG to Baby Addison. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on her now that I can breathe again! We are thankful for these forever friends.
