On Saturday, Helen Grace experienced her first CIRCUS! A friend of ours gave us tickets in a suite, and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. We were able to go down to the floor before the show and get within 15 feet of a 32-year-old elephant. A-mazing! And just a few days ago, Helen Grace started acting like an elephant, using her arm as a trunk, so this was right up her alley. During the show, she stood at the front of the suite, pressed to the glass and really paid attention to the show. The elephants, lions, kitty cats, tight rope walkers, and girls spinning by their hair were her favorites. Toward the end of the second half, she did get a little bored, but she had fun running around the suite with the other little boys there. She was completely worn out afterward and fell asleep soon after we pulled out of the parking garage!
