For as long as she's been riding horses, Helen Grace has looked up to the princesses at the Germantown Charity Horse Show. It's always been such a tradition in the horse world for the junior and senior girls in high school. Well, whether mama likes it or not, Helen Grace's junior year is here, and she was nominated by her barn to represent them in the horse show this year. That honor comes with a year of service and social events, including working the show in June and being presented to the horse show membership in March. We spent the Christmas break fretting over finding a white dress with not a single embellishment on it and no train that was her size and could be here by March. Whew! We found this one she loved and were so thankful. On March 27th, the princess court was announced and presented at a very fancy and formal ball. Helen Grace was presented by John, and Chace was her 'escort.' It was so fun to see them in tuxes! Spiffer, Granddaddy, and several very sweet fans came to cheer her on and dance the night away! We are so proud that she finally gets to relish in this honor and accomplishment. (We've got some professional pics coming. Will add to the post when I get them)
