Another week in our favorite beach town for Spring Break, and KK joined us for the first time! Lots of cackles, bike rides, ice cream, frozen drinks, late nights, and slow mornings. A day on the water, a morning of sandcastle building, and a sunset on the beach with a bonfire were some of our fave memories.
Loving exploring the new place
Had to immediately get in the pool, right??
MOAS (Mother of All Suitcases), the Florida version
Of course, this girl unpacked and hung up everything
And we found a real life mermaid on the roof!!
Her first daiquiri

After the blue sno cone dessert from Sugar Shak
She collected a few friends to come home for a sleepover
Bike rides with Daddy mean a pit stop for ice cream

Star gazing on the roof
And soon sound asleep
Saying bye to her spend the night company
An adventure on the water with Flipping Awesome Adventures' Captain Chris
This sea star was digesting a sand dollar- you can see the circle shape in his center
A baby sea urchin was catching a ride on the big one! (tiny one is on left)
Cuddles from the chilly wind
WE GOT SO CLOSE TO SO MANY DOLPHINS!
And we found shells the size of our hands at Shell Island
This sandbar was the jackpot! And the water was FREEZING
Shells so big C could use them to hold her snack
I found two hermit crabs
And look at KK, the shell hunter!
Dinner with teenagers (LaCo now has fondue from La Crema)
In my efforts to keep Cress entertained, we signed up for a sandcastle lesson from Beach Sand Sculptures. She was thoroughly entertained for two hours and loved it!
Bradford came to help
Checking on her baby turtles (Bob, George, and something else)
Beach Club
Bonfire night
"What's uuuupppp?"
Our last night, the girls requested one more night of La Crema pasta. When we arrived, we learned there was a chance of rain, so we ordered all of our food immediately and tried to eat quickly. As we scarfed down our fondue, there came the rain! We all went running! (For the record, my hair was already wet from a shower, so it wasn't wet from rain in this pic- that came a few mins later)
The last morning, I got up early enough to cook my favorite pancakes before we started packing up, and I got to see the sunrise! (Thanks to Daylight Savings Time that week, it came around 6:45-7)
You haven't been to 30A unless you've kiss the Floralalala fish!
At one of our five stops on the way home, both girls surprised me with flowers from a grassy area. Very sweet!
