Thanksgiving at Alys

I believe Thanksgiving at the beach has officially become a Moore-Toohig family tradition. We had some cloudy, muggy weather over the holiday, but we squeezed in all the beach time, pool time, shopping, napping, biking, and Miami Vices that we could in a few days! We loved this house and think we've found a perfect layout for our family. Hope to stay there again soon. We ate at Cuvee 30A and Havana in the Pearl on Thanksgiving this year. Both were great in totally different ways.

Finally getting to show Grandma her pierced ears!

First cheers

And then getting to surprise Spiffer & GD

Showing her grandmamas her skincare routine

Look at all those happy Toohig ladies

John was excited to practice his stunting skills that he learned on fall break

Giving me the L because they rode their bikes ahead and beat me (when I was walking)

Thanksgiving dinner at Havana in the Pearl

She offered to rub my feet?!

We had an empty lot and a house under construction right across the street from us. A whole slew of kitty cats lived there, so we spent a lot of time spotting and documenting all the cats.

Black Friday shopping in Rosemary

Meanwhile, John kept Cressey entertained at the pool

Granddaddy to the rescue

Friday night 'lighting of the Christmas tree'

And Santa!

HG asked for a few simple snowflakes and ended up with a lot of color

Last night dinner at George's

HG and I left dinner at George's and rode our bikes into a windstorm to do a little shopping for HG in Seacrest before we left town. On the way home, we passed this beautifully lit courtyardin Alys, and HG indulged me by letting me snap a pic of her.

When we checked in, we were given a flyer on all the holiday events happening in Alys that week. The night before we left, I happened to flip it over and look what familiar face I found on the back! We were so shocked! That picture was taken at the same event last year.

We didn't let her stop on the way there to see her fish, we did a drive by on our way home.
