We (along with the Browns) tried out something new for Cressey- ice skating! She was really excited about it, but she broke down as soon as she stepped onto the ice. I made her keep going until we got to the other gate, and by then, she was calming down and liking it a bit better. After half a loop around the rink, she was loving life. As soon as we got back to the gate, she was ready for a break but didn't want to get off the ice when the rest of us were still skating, so she pushed through for a few more laps. She only fell once as she was stepping back onto the ice one time. As usual, Helen Grace looked like a member of the Ice Capades out there and is a natural on the ice! Cress was so proud of herself for skating 'by herself' and has told her teachers and friends all about it but has no immediate plans to return- lol!
Maddie was so fun to skate with too and was a big help with the little ones!
Popsicles for everyone! Except HG who needed hot chocolate...
