Elves of the Shelf

Snowflake Mist and Elfa had yet another big holiday season of fun this year! While most of the pics show Cressey discovering them, don't be fooled. HG would set her alarm early so that she could wake up and find them before Cressey got out of bed (which usually meant before I was out of bed too!). HG said these were her favorite elf shenanigans...making snowflakes out of toilet paper or rolling in the toilet paper down the stairs.

Cress usually wants us to come into her room to get her out of bed, and she was really grumpy that we were just standing outside her door, calling to her. Finally, HG opened her door, and we loved watching the smile creep across her face as she realized why we didn't just come in.

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Santa made a repeat appearance at our house this year, hoping we could top last year's stomach-bug-hit-so-no-guests-showed-up party. And man, did he show up and show out! We invited the girls in Cressey's PK class, along with a few special little friends, and although Cress hadn't been excited to see Santa out and about before then, she was TICKLED PINK to see him at her house! We had a huge time and loved celebrating the festivities with our friends, new and old!

SANTAAAAA!!!

GD and Spiffer's bounce house was a BIG hit. If you look closely, you can see GD standing behind it between the inflatable and the holly bushes, protecting it as it bounced wildly. He had his hands full with these party girls! 

The boys were just trying to stay clear of all the mayhem...unfortunately, they found it while hanging out HG's window!
