Look who I found in the latest school brochure!
Cress gets bored sitting in the carpool line for 30 minutes before school gets out, so sometimes we go inside and help in the library or just explore.
MS girls, obviously
These girls ride together in class each week and have gotten to be the sweetest friends (Grayson and Mia)
HG’s friend Annabella has started lessons and rode so well in her first show, and Maddie came to cheer them on.
Naptime for sissy
First time for a family ride around the lake at Shelby Farms (We learned that it might have been too long for the entire park to tolerate listening to Cress scream, “STUCK!!!,” from her stroller.)
Stopped for a water/beer/wine break
HG wanted to wear this mermaid costume for Cressey’s birthday party.
As soon as HG and I left for her riding lesson, C stole it and slipped it on.
This is how her two year old photo shoot ended. Not pictured: mama covered in snot
Muddy’s
Visiting Hank at the office
I walked into PDO aftercare and found Cress and the kiddos taking a “walk.” Cressey squealed and was happy to see me, but she refused to get out of the crib. I had to walk back to her classroom and then show her the trip was done before she willingly left.
Trying to entice the bird out of the tree with an acorn
We went in for a lungs’ checkup for both girls. C thought it was cool to watch sissy get looked over, but she was NOT happy (or cooperative) when it was her turn.
Well….Cressey is halfway there…
Good to the last drop
Dinner date with Ryves and Mary Chris
Her favorite hiding spot
St. Paddy’s Day zoo trip
Meeting Bella
Wicked date at the Orpheum
During intermission, we walked up to meet the conductor, Adam, and he told HG all about the guitarist and the backstage camera set up. She was in hog heaven!
I knew I had seen those curls somewhere…
She loves to carry her lunch bag, and she was showing off her new sandals.
Carpool selfie
This will be really scary but true in about seven years!
HG has started a soccer rec team this spring, and she’s loving being back on the soccer field!
Spif has had hip replacement surgery, and I think these two have used her walker more than she has! She has really rocked it and been a wonderful patient.
Always begging for food- this time, my eggs
Wearing sissy’s red school sweater and backpack
And daddy’s hat
“Bad kitty!” Blue likes to lay on the warm spot over the ice maker on this counter, and Cressey crawled up there while she was pretending to be a kitty.
HG was making a note for Cressey on her bathroom window.
Getting a stamp might be her favorite part of Little Gym.
Mother-Daughter picnic at SAA
ROCKING OUT her tests one Friday. Her teacher was so proud that she texted me this pic.
Nap hair, don’t care
The twins had a class slumber party for their birthday. I couldn’t resist snapping a pic of all those shoes by the front door!
Easter egg hunt at the assisted living home with HG’s class
This sweet resident wanted to help a kid look for eggs, so HG walked around with her and even shared her loot.
One of our best fire pit nights yet
Mean muggin’
Give me all the marshmallows!
HG is going to a sleepover summer camp this year, so we went to an open house. I’m not sure either one of my girls will ever leave. C wanted to do whatever HG tried.
HG couldn’t have been more thrilled with the climbing wall and zip lines. And they ride horses!
Paintball was a hit too.
