The day turned out to be such an answer to prayers- sunny, warm, and beautiful. The trees shaded our patio late in the afternoon, and it was so pleasant outside in the shade especially. We had a balloon lady come and a bounce house set up in the backyard. We entertained the kids with an egg hunt, hula hoops and bubbles, a dress-up photo booth, and Pin the Tail on the Bunny.
The party princess finally wakes up and joins the party!
The balloons were a hit.
She got her hands messy but didn’t dig into it like we expected. She barely made it to the cake part, but she liked the icing for a little bit...until she was ready to get out of her chair.
I asked Cam and Hanley to snap some pics during the party, but as a result, the party photographers weren’t in many pics. Thankfully, someone snapped this one of them to prove they were there!
The big kids hid eggs for the little ones in the backyard. Brandy read the little ones a story and played Pin the Tail on the Bunny until the eggs were safely hidden.
The hula hoops and bubbles entertained big and little kids alike.
