This past Friday was HG’s second riding lesson. Thankfully, she got to ride Beanie Baby again, and all was right with the world. She was a bit more stoic this time, but she later told me that she was just focusing. Her teacher, Ms. Jody, is amazing and always puts HG at ease. By the end of this class, she had HG trotting on her own and then riding bareback for a bit. After class, I followed her around the barn for a little while as she floated on air, and I finally manhandled her to get back to the car. We had literally stepped out of the barn and weren’t even to the car before she asked when she could come back. Addicted!!
