Spring Break 2014 is here! Helen Grace got out of school at noon on Friday, and she asked to go to lunch at Huey’s downtown. Random but fun, and of course, Spiffer, Granddaddy, and I were happy to oblige her request. After lunch, we asked if she wanted to go next door to see the Peabody ducks, but she said no, she’d seen them before, and wanted to see the river. Ha! We drove over to Tom Lee Park and spent a few minutes out by water before the chilly wind froze our ears and fingers! What a beautiful start to Spring Break.
