It would be pretty hard to top Helen Grace’s excitement over her dance recital, but learning that Hayes and Hastings would be staying over at Spiffer and Granddaddy’s the night after her performance put her over the top. It really didn’t matter that I was out of town that weekend because she wouldn’t have had time or attention for me anyway. Probably didn’t even notice I was gone! They pigged out at Three Guys’ Pizza, jumped until they were delirious, slept for just a bit, and then went right back to the jumpy and tent building. We are so blessed to have this family.
