Wow, so sorry for being MIA so long! Yes, we are still alive, although sleep deprived. Helen Grace’s sleep schedule has been totally off, first with her ears and now her teeth, so I’ve been trying to hit the hay as soon as I get her down (which has been much later than normal).
I took her back to the doctor on Wednesday because we were feeling and hearing a rattle in her chest, but luckily, it was nothing to worry about. Her ears were clear, and her chest just had a little bit of congestion in it. Her head and nose seem to be better, but now we are dealing with teeth- two new ones are coming in up top on each side of the middle two! She has been waking up every two or so hours the last few nights and is inconsolable- so very frustrating to see her so upset. We are still working on figuring out the magic combination of Tylenol, teething tablets, a bottle, and a new diaper to make her quiet down the quickest.
Here are some pics of our little crawler from last weekend. Spif and Google/Granddaddy gave Helen Grace a cute pink little scooter, and she’s had a ball figuring it out. She’s getting around a lot better crawling (and has goten even faster since then), but she tends to push off her crawl with her right leg. It’s a funny little crawl, but it gets her where she needs to go!
Visiting with Cousin Mary AgnesOf course, she tried to eat it.
