A Date with Frankie

On Wednesday, we met one my nearest and dearest friends, Brandy, and her youngest little girl, Frankie (a.k.a. Cupcake), at the library for story time at the Southaven Library. It’s rare for us to spend time just with Frankie, but with the older two girls in school that day, it was a special treat. With all the excitement of seeing each other, the girls barely made it through the book reading and weren’t too terribly interested in the craft, so we quickly headed to lunch. Brandy and I actually had a few minutes of adult conversation while the girls entertained each other, but then the wiggles won out, signaling our time to go. We look forward to another girls’ date soon!

Getting into a good book. She was fascinated by these chair cushions, and I remember feeling the same way about them as a child. They are probably the same ones!library I tried and tried but couldn’t get a smile out of Frankie.frankie1 But Helen Grace figured out a way to get one- tickle, tickle!frankie2 frankie3
