Shopping Queen

After a good long (and much needed) nap following the jumpy party, Helen Grace and I headed off to Pottery Barn Outlet with Granddaddy and Spif to look for bedding and curtains for her soon-to-be big girl room. For some reason, she headed straight to the first bed display she saw and GOT IN IT! What??? Such a little diva. Afterward, we went to Bronte for dinner and enjoyed a great time out on the patio. She ate a few bites of her food but then hopped down and ran from one of us to the next asking, “Done?” When she tired of that, she started throwing in, “Finished?” Every time she got to me, I’d hold out a fork full of mac and cheese, and she was obviously not ‘done’ with her food because she ate a TON through that method. Our little ballerina gave us a great performance as well. We rounded out the night with some play time in the kids’ area and some petting of the shelter puppy dogs on display in the store. It only took a minor fit (although I think my dad would say it was a major fit) to get her out of Davis Kidd. Once she got in her car seat with Blues Clues playing, she was a happy girl again.
