HG wanted to ramen but was nervous about it burning her when she drained it. I told her, "You can do it!" HG sarcastically said, "I don't believe in myself." Cressey piped up, "You should always believe in yourself!"
Cress and I were talking about what she might be when she grows up. She said, "I want to work at Make A Wish and be a mama just like you because you are just the best mama ever!"
I was trying to explain to Cressey what HG would be doing at cotillion. It's where they learn about how to eat fancy meals, how to dance, how to have manners- Cress interrupts, "Oh, sissy if finally going to learn some manners!?"
We've had some bad weather nights here lately. I have cleaned out the closet under the stairs for our safe place, and at one point during the storms, I passed it and noticed HG had brought down all of Cressey's loveys and some books to entertain her. Sweet sister.

HG loves to do this thing where you hang from above and swing around. For some reason, Cressey followed her right up there for the first time and waited FOREVER for her turn. There were two sections of the course with a little landing spot in the middle. One of Cressey's friends' tried and then bailed on that landing spot, so I was worried when it was Cressey's turn. She started off flying, open-mouthed, but when she got to the landing spot, she was ready to get off. The employee that came to help her misunderstood and helped her get over the hump, and then she went flying for part two. She was NOT happy by the time she got back to me, but she soon realized how proud she should be for doing it!

I have been looking for this painting by HG for years. She did it at Grandma's, and we found it in HG's room during a clean out.
