For the last several years, we have celebrated HG’s birthday with the three other April and May birthday girls in her class, Olivia, Bella Marie, and Rachel. This year, we tackled Bass Pro Shop for a slumber party. We started with bowling and pizza, headed up to the observation deck, headed to our suites for cupcakes, donned facials and cucumbers, and then settled in for a movie (or wine if you were one of the four mamas).
The girls had a BIG time, and HG conked out in the middle of the pack. She was missing her sissy and her house, surprisingly, but she cuddled up in her sleeping bag in my room and was asleep before her head hit the pillow.
In the morning, we had donuts and milk for breakfast, passed out favors (sleeping mask, nail polish and file, etc.), and then headed home. Needless to say, they all went to bed early that Saturday night!
