John surprised HG and I by taking the day off on Friday, and I know you are just shocked that we decided to spend the day at the zoo. The weather was a dream, and we wanted some fresh air, although we realized when we got there that we were underdressed. After weeks of it being in the 90s, temps in the 60s on Friday had us running for the gift store for sweatshirts! We had a really nice time though, and once the sun came out around lunch, it was almost hot. “It’s a perfect day,” according to HG.
