Saturday was a family fun day- an extended birthday gift! We celebrated our friend Alaina’s first birthday with a picnic, and whew, Helen Grace was channeling her inner track star. She kept stealing her friend Camille’s sippy cup and would TAKE OFF running with it. Good thing her daddy could catch up with her pretty quickly! Saturday night, my parents had everyone over for a September birthdays party and to watch the Ole Miss vs. Tulane game. HG had a blast with her cousin, Hastings, and it’s amazing what a few months can change. Helen Grace was able to keep up with Hastings now, so I think Hastings was pleasantly surprised to have a playmate. HG followed her around like a puppy dog, doing whatever Hastings did. Too cute! I am sure these two will get into all kind of trouble over the years!
