Spiffer and Granddaddy came over after school one day this week to help us with some finishing touches to our Christmas decorations. (No matter how old I get, I am not capable of adequately decorating the top of the tree. Why is that so hard for me??) While they were here, HG asked Spiffer to help her put together a gingerbread castle that Rachel got for her. I already knew Spiffer was a saint, but after watching that experience, the woman has earned another crown in heaven! They sure did have fun, although they looked a bit like Smurfs- ha!
