Ever since Helen Grace found this in her stocking on Christmas morning…
…she’s been talking non-stop about going to see Mary Poppins at the big, fancy Orpheum with Mama and Spiffer!
Well, in true Toohig fashion, the stomach bug got me just in time for the show, and I was stuck in bed. Luckily, Grandma stepped in at the last minute and saved the day. While I was sick about being sick and missing it, I really think she enjoyed it more with her two grandmamas anyway. And of course, having Ann Maxwell and Mrs. Emily there too made it the “best day ever!”
According to Helen Grace, her favorite parts were the chimney sweep tapping up the wall and across the ceiling and the actors taking theirs bows at the end.
Aren’t these girls precious?
