Granddaddy’s birthday was Wednesday, and since we have been having blissfully perfect weather, we headed to the zoo that morning to celebrate. We pretty much covered every inch of the zoo and had a great time being together. We met John for dinner at Humdinger’s to round out a fantastic family day. Happy birthday, Granddaddy/Deedy! We love you so much!

That’s an elephant tooth…they usually have four in their mouth at once (they grow in from the back and move forward), and they get six sets in their lifetime. Crazy!
The docent let her pick a pin, and she chose a panda button. She has pretty much worn it all day every day since then.
