We spent Black Friday as we did much of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend- eating, and with family.
Since Meredith was in town, we went over to Bubba’s that morning to bake Christmas cookies like we did last year. Then, we headed to Holly Springs to meet William and family for a burger at Phillips’ Grocery. That entailed playing checkers and climbing on trains with Granddaddy.
Afterward, we started putting up a bit of Christmas decorations, headed to the barn for riding lessons, and then went over to the Browns’ for the annual Monopoly game. Fun day!
We loved having a lunch and ice cream date with the Hasseltines over the holiday weekend.
