Last week, HG and I met Camille, Emsley, and their sweet mamas at Paint a Piece to work on some Christmas presents for grandparents. The girls had a blast, and since painting wasn’t their priority for more than 15 minutes, we soon migrated to a new play place to let them run off some energy. Afterward, we grabbed some pizza. It was a great impromptu mommies-daughters date!

Thursday night, Helen Grace and I checked out Olive Branch’s big Christmas event downtown. She was NOT interested in seeing Santa and the carriage ride line was ridiculous, so we headed to City Hall for the official tree lighting. I enjoyed singing Christmas carols while Helen Grace chased around some boys. A win for both of us!
