For Helen Grace’s second birthday, Bubba, Spif, and Granddaddy gave her a playset, complete with swings, a slide, a trapeze, a picnic table, and a rock wall. The child has gone nuts and is in hog heaven! She eagerly watched the delivery guys unload the pieces in the yard on Wednesday morning, but once the drill came out, she was done- “Scare me!” When she woke up from her nap though, the loud and scary men were gone, and a playset was waiting on her! She RAN outside, giggling and squealing the whole way, and we’ve been in the backyard ever since. On Wednesday night, Spif and Granddaddy came to see it, and we ordered pizza. The poor delivery lady had to come find us in the backyard because we were still out there when she arrived! Bubba came to check it out on Thursday and even gave the swings a try, pushed along by Helen Grace, of course. A few meals have already been eaten on the picnic table, and I am sure we will have many more to come this summer!
